“ Had the all meats Pizza in the restaurant. The pizza was the best that I had in DC. Very tasty!!! While the restaurant catered to mostly togo orders while we were there, we had a good experience having our pizza in the front. Had a good conversation with the owner, even though he was busy. Will visit again the next time I’m in DC. This is a true local pizza joint. ”
“ Pizzoli‘s is a small cozy pizza shop tucked away in a quiet and cute neighborhood. The food is fresh and delicious. I ordered a standard pepperoni calzone and Pizzoli’s did not disappoint. Gooey melted mozzarella cheese with the soft ricotta layered between salty spiced pepperoni all wrapped in a crisp slightly sweet pizza dough. Chefs kiss!! ”
“ HIGHLEY RECCOMEND ESPECIALLY FOR GF EATERS!!!The guy who runs this place is absolutely amazing. I called in to see if I could eat his Gluten free crust and diary free cheese. That there wasnt egg or soy in either and I could! He literally called me back to read me the ingredients and then after I had trouble figuring out how to place the order for delivery he told me he would do it for me and how to place the order. And even later called back to make sure I got what I was owed when door dash was taking too long. The pizza even cold was TO DIE FOR! IVE NEVER HAD SUCH A DELICOUS GLUTEN FREE, DAIRY, EGG AND SOY FREE PIZZA DISH IN OVER A DECADE BEING ALLERGY FREE. We plan to stop in and dine in next time we are in town! ”

Tiffany - letting that joking about fork & knife slide cause I know yall be using them . A Service! Ordered a large pepperoni pizza, ate it inside. “ My family and I are visiting from California. We ordered delivery of a cheese pizza and meat lovers. The pizza was the best pizza we have ever had! The crust is perfect, the meat lovers was extremely generous with toppings, and overall they were both delicious. We loved it so much we ended up ordering a few nights later for take out. We order cheese, Hawaiian, veggie and meat lovers. We are all very impressed with the flavors. My husband picked up the pizza and spoke with the owner. He said the owner was very friendly. The owner said the crust is fresh, homemade, and the sauce is organic. We highly recommend this pizza place! ”

“ My favorite pizza in the city! Pizzolis feeds all our parties and everyone always comments on how incredible the pizzas are. Super delicious specialty pizzas (so many are vegetarian, too!), and TONS of topping choices if you want to make/customize your own. Anyone from the Northeast who’s nostalgic for the solid neighborhood pizza joints of their youth that served up huge, eat-till-you’re-stuffed, cheesy, saucy, thin-crust pizzas, look no further. DC has plenty of bougie pizza restaurants offering pricey tiny pizzas with fancy toppings, and those have their place... but this is where I turn when I’m REALLY craving pizza. They’re also usually surprisingly fast in preparing the orders! ”
